SECTION I – STUDENT WELL-BEING
School safety is a responsibility of all members of the learning community. All staff members are familiar with emergency
procedures. Should a student be aware of any dangerous situation or accident, they must notify any staff person immediately. State
law requires that all students must have updated emergency medical information yearly, submitted by a parent or guardian, and
filed with the school office. This can be done directly through Parent Connect. A student may be excluded from school until this
requirement has been fulfilled. Students with specific health care needs should deliver written notice about such needs to the
School Office.
